MI Sheriff Accused of Racism, Sexism, and Ableism in Lawsuit

In February 2018 a Michigan sheriff was accused in a lawsuit of racism, sexism, and ableism. The lawsuit alleges insulting remarks made about blacks, Hispanics, and women, as well as mocking a lieutenant for his hearing loss. The sheriff’s insulting racist and sexist comments and mocking marginalized people that are often considered “other” in our society. The workplace should be a place of inclusion, not inequality.
